Stone processing

A similar texture to that of flaming is achieved by passing a very high pressure water jet over the surface of the stone, which washes out softer minerals. Water finishing is suitable for marbles as well as granites and for yellow stones where a color change is not desirable. Flamed or water-finished surfaces may be brushed to give a smoother velvety surface.
